Raul first joined in the lab in June 2017 as part of MSRP, and returned in February 2018 as a Visiting Scholar. He came back to MIT for graduate school, and officially joined the lab in May 2020. He received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez.

Rachel joined the lab in July 2025. She received her BSc in Neuroscience at UCL and MSc in Biotechnology at ETH Zurich. She is a Medical Engineering and Medical Physics PhD student at Harvard-MIT HST.

Sydney joined the lab in July 2025 and is co-advised by Dr. Brandon Weissbourd. Prior to joining the BCS PhD program, she graduated with a B.S. in Neuroscience, B.A. in Philosophy, and a minor in Biology from Santa Clara University in 2022. She then went on to complete two years of post-baccalaureate research in the lab of Dr. Michael Tri Do at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children's Hospital.

Julia joined MIT as a graduate student in the fall of 2024, then joined the lab in November 2025. She received her BA in Physics and Neuroscience from Barnard College in 2024. Julia was a recipient of the MIT Presidential Graduate Fellowship to fund her first year of graduate school.

Lily joined the lab in September 2023. She is currently studying Chemical Physical Biology and Mind Brain Behavior at Harvard University.
